Lauren Lanzaretta, the Cleveland-based soul singer and songwriter never fails to deliver with the inspirational and sultry sound her music brings to life, and her solo album, “Naked Soul” doesn’t disappoint. The all-original, 11-song album was recorded live at the Lava Room Recording studio and includes a mix of Lauren’s soulful vocals, a lively horn section, guitar solos, strings and piano.
Lanzaretta began her singing career with a base in gospel music. She began at a very young age by writing and singing inspirational gospel songs on a family piano. From there, her talent blossomed into a full-time career of sharing her passion and continuing to deliver her awe-inspiring and unique soulful sound.
Some of Lauren Lanzaretta’s accomplishments include: Recently voted "Best Singer" in Cleveland Scene Magazine's "Best of Cleveland" campaign; opening act for Carnage, Seven Lions & Machine Gun Kelly at "Life In Color" (May 2014) at Jacob's Pavilion at Nautica; opening act for Krewella at the “Cleveland Rocks New Year’s Eve” show with Drew Carey in Cleveland (2013); the official singer of the National Anthem at the Petit Le Mans, powered by Mazda (2012); nominated for Album of the Year and Video of the Year by the Ohio Hip Hop Awards for her collaboration EP Album with DJ Scrilla, Color of Love (2012); and Top Ten Contestant in the Budweiser Opening Act Competition (2011).
